Spring Break Medley (and a record 16 pics posted- too much)

Spring break started off with Emily and Steven's wedding
Jaden and Nixie in their cute dresses- Nixie is the immodest one.

Someone please give me an energy drink
How cute are these kids at this fun farm? How fun was their experience? Please look below.

This might look like an ordinary pic of a cow, but look at the white cows rump- the black form you see is a baby calf being born. We were on a hay ride when the farmer stopped the hayride because this cow was giving birth. He was very excited... the 2o children aboard were not quite as euphoric. There was alot of silence and Malloy looked at me and said, "I feel sick". He then spent the rest of the hayride laying on my lap- eyes closed, most likely trying to erase the image. My nephew also commented later, " we saw a cow have a baby from his butt." WOW- what a day at the farm.

Sleep over with cousins McKay, Jaden, and Roxcy- love the clubhouse.

wrestle match with McKay, Malloy, Jaden, and Nixie
Hole in the rock!

Don't forget about me- I'm 31/2 months old!

Last but not least.... ADAM'S LOBSTER DINNER!

Here he is showing off the "Lobster lover's dream" meal he chose.

Here it is in all it's glory- Adam's dream come true.

BIRTHDAY DEPRESSION-PLEASE HELP!!!

Why did I ask? Why did I ASK? I have been married for 6 almost 7 years and every year for Adam's birthday I plan some surprise date. This year however, I asked what he wanted to do. The answer was "I would like to go to Red Lobster". I would rather be attacked by a lobster, so after several seconds of silence I suggested maybe another nice restaurant that sells lobster. His response was "It's not your birthday." This isn't all. He then let me know he would like to go dancing. Yea! I suggested, line dancing, ballroom dancing lessons, swing lessons, all things I would like to do on my own birthday. Adam once again shut me down and told me he wanted to dance to the kind of music we just happened to be listening to at that moment which was -and I quote "the rap you grew up with" station. I laughed and said jokingly, "a club?" He shook his head no and said a church dance. When I complained he said once again with a smile, "it's not your birthday". Please what can I do about this? I do not care if my husband sees this post- I know he will even though he pretends he never reads blogs.

I love bridal showers!

My cute neice Emily is getting married! I can't handle it. Though she is only 6 years younger, I still can't believe she is getting married. Em, we love you and can't wait to see you in all your bridal glory in two weeks! Look how cute she is and look at those little pink cakes that I want to eat right now!

Engaged

Those who are reading, please think back to the bridal shower/ engagement days. I hope you laugh as hard as I do when I think about that time. First of all, anyone who gave or recommended a book about marriage, I secretly felt sorry for because I thought to myself- Oh, we don't need those kind of books because we are more in love than you. Also, anything my husband did, or said I thought was "so cute". I wanted to talk about him night and day and we could not leave each other in the evenings. We would hug, hold hands,be so sad to separate. Oh I am laughing right now. I love my husband but I would gladly read a good book on marriage. He is pretty cute but a lot of things he says are not so cute and lastly, in the evenings I try to get to bed as early as possible so he can give Delilah her late night feeding! I'm embarresed when I think about some of the things we said and did during the dating days- The Bachelor times twelve! I love you Adam and we have lot's of funny stories to laugh about when you get home!

Why the Easter bunny ears you wonder? What is a shower without some fun dress up- we had to embarrass our niece a little since this was a kitchen and bath shower. She just giggled at our inappropriate gifts and continued to open presents.
